Walltown Instructional Divisions
Walltown's programming is designed for maximum impact across age groups and skill levels. We have divided our classes into instructional divisions based on these factors to make it easier to choose your child's appropriate levels for classes and activities.
EXPLORER DIVISION
Artistic Instruction for Young Performers Ages 3-7 years The Explorers Division provides young children the opportunity to explore various arts in a fun environment and discover which ones inspire them.
Once their interests are peaked, they can advance to Performers in Training. Explorers are offered classes in Yoga, Ballet, Tap, Tumbling, Musical Theater and Drumming/Rhythym Foundations. |
PERFORMERS IN TRAINING (PIT)
Beginner to Intermediate Training for Performers Ages 8 & Up The Performers in Training Division builds on the interests peaked as an Explorer and building a stronger foundation in dance, drama, and or music PIT classes have no prerequisites.
PIT students are offered classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, tumbling, hip hop, musical theater, acting, guitar, piano and drumming. |
PRE-PROFESSIONAL DIVISION
Intermediate to Pre-Professional Training for Performers (Placement Required) The Pre-Professional Division is for performers pursuing a mastery of their talent resulting in a higher level of technique, performance, and artistry.
PPr students may wish to pursue membership in our Dance Company, which secures opportunities for students to participate in regional and national competitions and workshops. |
AFTER SCHOOL ARTS (ASA)
After school arts program (ASA) for students Pre-K through 5th Grade *Day rates available! ASA is WTown's arts-focused after school program for elementary school kids grades pre-k through 5th grade.
ASA students are supervised and assisted with homework enjoy arts, activities, games, and age/level appropriate classes offered daily between 2pm & 5pm. |
Walltown Programming Areas
Walltown's offers programming in 3 main focus areas, Drama, Music, and Dance. We also combine these disciplines in our Musical Theater program and present multiple productions each year. To round out our programming, we also offer "Behind the Scenes" classes and workshops exploring Sound, Lighting, Costuming/Props, Set Design, and Stage management.

Walltown Performance Groups
Walltown has two pre-professional groups that perform in external events, compete against and/or mentor other groups, and develop and/or participate in community service projects. These are the Walltown Dance Company (WDC) and the Walltown PLAYers.
