BTS Teacher Workday Camp

Our newest Behind the Scenes track, Media & Production, gives students hands-on experience in photography and videography - capturing real moments from live performances, rehearsals, and classrooms across Walltown.

Students start with our introductory workshop, “Exposed,” led by industry professional, Jafar Fallahi (collaborator with Cafe con Leche Media) where they’ll learn the basics of shooting with professional equipment, framing dynamic shots, and working as part of a creative crew. From there, students can continue into a full class, diving deeper into editing, storytelling, and post-production in our tech lab.

This isn’t practice - it’s real work. Students will document live productions, create b-roll content, and collaborate on projects throughout the year, building a portfolio that reflects both their creativity and technical growth.

One of the most explosive movie musicals in recent memory bursts onto the live stage with exhilarating results. When the reverend’s rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren’s reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. Hold on to your nightcaps! Walltown Children’s Theatre has transported the infamous Ebenezer Scrooge and the gang, from the blustery streets of 19th century London to modern-day America. While addressing the unchanging issues of greed, generosity, and economic inequality, “What the Dickens?” draws inspiration from contemporary music, modern dance and includes a number of original songs. Audiences of any age will find this quirky modern-musical inspiring and brimming with holiday spirit.
